Yesterday, together with DMV Zenel Zhabari from “North Animal Hospital”, we met the officials of the municipality of Vushtrri, Mr. Bajram Beiqiri, Mr. Maliq Ferizi, Director of the Directorate for Defence and Rescue, and Ms. Shqiponjë Hajdari Mikushnica, Director of the Directorate of Inspections, as well as police representatives in the municipality of Vushtrri.

During this meeting, we discussed the situation with dogs on the street, as well as the measures that should be taken by the municipality to prevent the proliferation of dogs on the streets.

Also, during this meeting, we discussed about the organization of awareness-raising campaigns, where police officers expressed their willingness to help with the distribution of brochures aimed at raising awareness for responsible dog keeping.

Our organization will assist the municipality in organizing awareness-raising campaigns, as well as for any other step aimed to humanely resolve the situation with stray dogs.
