Educating children about respecting animals is very important to understand the needs and behaviors of animals, consequently to ensure a healthy and humane relationship between humans and animals.

Human-animal relations, especially in relation to companion animals such as dogs, depend entirely on human behavior towards these animals, so awareness-raising campaigns about animal welfare and rights are more than necessary.

All people, especially children, should have the opportunity to be informed how to behave in the presence of animals on the street but also in the presence of animals with keepers (owners), as proper behavior and good treatment of animals also avoids potential incidents between animals and humans.

On the other hand, veterinarians, as professionals in the field, must be actively engaged to promote the responsible keeping and care of animals.
