After tireless work by FOUR PAWS, Mark the bear, the last of the “restaurant bears” in Albania, has started his journey to a permanent home in BÄRENWALD Arbesbach in Austria, where he will enjoy the rest of his life in a suitable environment for his species.

Restaurant bears have been a phenomenon in Kosovo as well, but thanks to the commitment of FOUR PAWS, all these bears have found permanent homes at BEAR SANCTUARY Prishtina, where they enjoy healthy lives and enough space to display their natural behaviors.
