Flora Bujupi deals every day with these cruel and inhumane actions in the Lipjan region in Kosovo.
Almost every morning she wakes up and sees puppies being “dumped” in front of her shelter. She did not want so many dogs there because the costs are too high to maintain a shelter and she works all by herself. Now she has almost 100 dogs in her shelter. She couldn’t let them die in front of her eyes of course and took them in her foster.
The police must take action to stop these criminal offenses. Dog abandonment is considered animal mistreatment and must be punished.
We must address these phenomenon as soon as possible, together with Flora, to the local authorities in order to keep a better eye on those responsible of breeding and dog dumping. These cruel actions must be prevented and punished!
