Kosovo municipalities should be transparent about the work they are doing in the castration / sterilization of stray dogs in the territory of their municipalities.
The Municipality of Ferizaj has allocated a sum of 90,000 euros for the CNVR (catch, neuter, vaccinate, release) in Ferizaj, but they do not want to be transparent towards the citizens with whose money they are funding the project.
Municipal officials do not want to be accountable to their citizens, because they themselves are aware that the process will have many defects, because the veterinarians contracted for this work, in the past have been negligent to many processes important for the life of dogs that they have had in their hands.
The Municipality of Ferizaj is not interested in how public money is spent and does not intend to request detailed reports from the contracting entity A.V. “Goni” for the work they are doing.
As always, for any irregularities of this kind, we must address the responsible institutions to send our complaints about the institutional negligence of the officials of the Municipality of Ferizaj.
We ask the activists of Ferizaj, to control their neighborhood/community dogs well and report to us everything suspicious to the dogs (with facts, please).
In addition, please contact the contracted veterinarian as much as possible: 044 / 680-515 and 044-155-453 and keep them accountable of what they’re doing with the dogs in Ferizaj.
We cannot be everywhere and need as much help as possible to prevent any kind of animal abuse and file charges if any animal abuse has been committed (with facts and serious reporting).
