Our organization will arrange the treatment of stray dogs in Prishtina through the CNVR method, in the absence of municipal commitment in this regard.

Seeing this disturbing situation, where the welfare of dogs on the street is constantly endangered, our organization, with the financial support of the “StrayCoCo” organization, will contract the veterinarian DVM Shefki Ajdini, to castrate and sterilize one hundred (100) dogs in Pristina. Our organization will monitor this process from start to finish, throughout all steps including capture, castration/sterilization, post-surgery period and release of dogs in the same place where they were caught.

Normally, this number is not enough to stop the reproduction of dogs on the streets, but seeing the lack of engagement of institutions, as always, the burden falls on NGOs and activists to carry out the work of state officials, who are paid with citizens’ taxes.

The castration and sterilization of stray dogs in this project will begin with a strategic system of catching dogs, starting from the city center (schools, health centers, parks) and expanding beyond the city center.
