It was a pleasure to participate together with BEAR SANCTUARY Prishtina in the children’s workshop organized by Galeria 17, to talk with children about caring for homeless animals aand how wild animals should live free and not be kept in isolation, as is often the case around the world.

Through the illustrated book “Teo”, which was created by our partner organizations LAV Trentino and Trentino con i Balcani Onlus, which describes the life of a street dog from Kosovo, we informed children about the care that should be given to street animals.

Education of the community, and especially children, about animal protection and care is a crucial measure to ensure a proper and dignified treatment of animals which will also lead to the prevention of the abandonment of animals and the reduction of the large number of stray animals.
